our customers want regarding products and information is an important

("Site"). ARC has designed its Site with this belief in

ARC may change its privacy practice and privacy statement. In the
event ARC does so, ARC will post any changes here promptly.

What
information does ARC collect on-line?
When you visit
ARC’s Site, ARC may ask you to provide information by filling
out and submitting an on-line form. This requested information may
include your name, phone number(s), e-mail address, mailing address,
and, in the case of a purchase, your credit card number. For privacy
purposes all information relating to our customers is stored in a
highly secure server that is not accessible
via the Internet and will not be shared with any third parties. You
can always choose whether or not to disclose any or all of the information
requested; however, certain information may be required in order to
be able to respond to your request or to complete the processing of
your purchase order. If you do not want to disclose any requested
information over the Site you may contact ARC’s
customer service center at (800) 508-6532 to complete your order or
request information.
Additionally, ARC
automatically gathers certain usage information regarding the number
and timing of visitors to the Site and the number and type of customers
that access and obtain ARC’s products. ARC
only uses and analyzes such information in the aggregate, not at the
individual level. Therefore, any personal information, such as your
name and e-mail address, are not included
in this analysis.
The only information
ARC may collect is information that you voluntarily provide to ARC,
which may include your acceptance of "cookies".
“Cookies”
— if ARC sends you cookies, what are they and how does ARC use them?
A cookie is a small
file stored on your computer by a website to give you a unique identification
by a website. Cookies help make it easier for you to use the Site,
and they help ARC provide you with the information you need — when
and where you need it.
A cookie generated
by a website contains no information about you. It contains only a
numeric identification number that, for example, allows you to retrieve
your order form or other associated information so that you can check
on the level of service to which you have subscribed and/or products
which you have ordered. ARC encourages you to update your information
periodically so that ARC may provide you with the best possible on-line
service.
In keeping with
ARC’s standard policy on customer information, ARC analyzes
data gathered via cookies only in the aggregate, not at the individual
customer level.
How
does ARC use the information it collects?
ARC may use the
information it collects to improve its Site, enhance ARC’s
existing product
offerings, and to introduce new product offerings.
How
does ARC use e-mail?
If you order a
product through our Site, ARC will send one e-mail message to confirm each
order. ARC encourages you to e-mail ARC with your questions or comments. ARC
reads every e-mail it receives. If you request to have your e-mail address
added to our mailing list, ARC will periodically send new information to you.
If you want your e-mail address removed from the list
at any time, just instruct us to do
so by e-mail.
What
information may ARC share with others?
ARC will not share,
sell or trade e-mail addresses, which are personal to you, with others.
Except to verify credit card information to complete your product
transaction, ARC will not use or release to others any credit card
or financial information for any purpose. For privacy purposes, all
information relating to our customers is stored on a highly secure
server that is not accessible via the Internet and will not be shared
with any third parties.
Special
Attention to Children:
ARC takes
special care to protect the safety and privacy of young people accessing
and using our products or Site. ARC does not specifically collect
information about children and believes that children should get their
parents’ consent before giving out any personal information. ARC encourages
you to participate in and supervise your child’s Internet experience.
How
to contact ARC with questions or comments?
ARC is always happy
to answer your questions and listen to your comments, and ARC offers
several options for you to contact us.
